ETU’s standard channels are manufactured under strict quality standards. All our standard channels are made of 2mm thick stainless steel material. All our products are chemically treated to ensure that all welded sections regain their full strength and resistance to corrosion. Our drainage channels have a perimeter margin of 23.5mm — ensuring that each channel has superior stability and straightness. Our stringent specifications on stainless steel are meant to provide you maximum hygiene and sanitation in your working environment.

Standard channels have long been used for abattoirs, meat processing, commercial kitchens and bakeries. In more recent years, standard channels have gained acceptance with hospitals, hotels and other non-industrial applications.

The primary reason for the increasing acceptance of standard channels is hygiene. The very efficient flow of liquid through standard channels prevents the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms along the drainage area. Moreover, standard channels allow water to drain without undue spillage and contamination to designated dry areas.
